Jonté Jahki Smith (born 10 July 1994) is a Bermudian footballer who plays as a forward for Gloucester City. == Career == Smith started his career with North Village Rams〔(Bermudian footballer signs pro terms in UK )〕 in the Caribbean Island Bermuda to England〔(Jonte turns pro with Crawley | The Royal Gazette:Bermuda Soccer )´〕 who earned his first professional contract in August by Sutton United. He played no games in the first team and was only part of the U-18, before he joined Crawley Town, in August 2011. He'd earned himself a contract in 2012 after a prolific season with the under-18s.〔(UK Football Trial Success Stories )〕 Jonté, who came over to England in search of a career as a professional footballer, scored his first senior goal in pre-season against Bromley in a 3–2 win in July 2012. He enjoyed a prolific loan spell with Met Police in the first three months of the 2012–13 season, scoring 24 goals.〔(Jonte Smith to go out on loan )〕 It earned him promotion to the first-team squad and he made his debut as a substitute in a 3–0 defeat to Bournemouth on 29 December 2012 – one of four appearances on the bench during the campaign.
